First Watch

Beautiful location, my food would have been delicious had it been warm. The young lady did not locate my order though we both looked right at it in the order the pick up area. She looked on the screen, looked at the bag and I believed her told it wasn’t there. I began to doubt my own compatency. I began to leave thinking I placed the order for a different location when I got outside and pulled my phone out to determine where I was heading I checked my gps and it said I had arrived. I checked my order for the address and checked the address on the door. I was where I needed to be and my food was also, that bag we looked at had to be MINES!! Had too soI went back in showed her my phone and because I ordered through DoorDash (pickup) it was sitting to be picked up with the first letter of my first name on the bag. I spoke to the manager about this whom should have given me a drink for free, but I paid for it!!! He said this was a teaching moment and thanked me for telling him what I had experienced. It’s a lovely place and I will return. One thing about me I won’t waste anyone’s time and I expect the same. They have good food, service is always questionable anywhere you go because no one really wants to work, they do it because they must, be kind to people they maybe kind to you and you just don’t know who your dealing with I do these reviews for all of us. I like first watch but this was not a good first impression. She could have investigated the situation more than less and gave me a complimentary something for having me leave thinking I made a mistake and my food was there!!! Solutions are always sitting next to problem.

I love the new location; the extra space is much appreciated! The bar area is great for singles. Their single origin coffee is delicious, as is all the food! I highly recommend First Watch.

5 stars is not enough. The atmosphere was welcoming. The coffee was hot and delicious! Breakfast Taco's.....OMG! I cannot wait to go back! I wish we had one closer to home!

A very nice location with the new format that First Watch is promoting. Open and airy, this recently opened location is supposedly the second-largest in the chain. Open only four days, all of the staff is still excited and anxious to get off to a good start with a new location. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and conversational, while our server was just as engaged and interested in making our visit a success. While we’re big First Watch fans and feel that their staff is generally a cut above the typical restaurant staff, this isn’t always the case; see my review of a Virginia First Watch from a year ago.

My wife tried a daily special offered by our server while I went with a conventional egg white omelette and accompanying sides. As expected, our food was just perfect. The only thing worth nitpicking was my bacon- severely over cooked and obviously left sitting out for a while. I still ate most of it, but normally I would have sent it back. Nevertheless, that minor blip didn’t detract from the overall great experience. This new location is just down the street from where we live and it’s sure to become a regular in our rotation.

The food is excellent. The service is superb (staff is friendly and attentive). The restaurant decor/layout is "home-y" and comforting... Will definitely be returning!
