Hidden Lakes Winery

Went for the first time to check it out for dinner and drinks. Was pleased to find out how quiet and beautiful the scenery was. We sat outside on the lake, and was treated to a beautiful area where Ducks, Geese and Swans splashed around all evening.

The food options here were very good: we had the side salad with a tasty, warmed bacon vinaigrette and the Spinach and Artichoke dip with Pita bread for starters was delicious.

Our main dishes were the Lasagna, and Chicken Alfredo. The Lasagna was meaty and very cheesy with a good sauce (all homemade), and the Alfredo was very thick and creamy. Would get it again.

Now, for the wine. The red wines were very watery...was hard to enjoy them when it tasted like grape juice. If you do get one, the Cabinet Sauvignon was passable. The Riesling, though, was very tasty and well-balanced.

They also have bourbon (which was good) and Moonshine, as well as craft beers. You may want to try those instead of the (red) wine.

All in all, we will return. Have live music regularly and the ambiance is very nice.

Hands down, one of the top wineries in the nation! You would not believe this hidden gem sits just outside the city! Nestled among the trees and the hidden lake, hence the name, you would never know it was just a stone's throw away from Highway 33! Amazing deals on wine tasting. For the men, or women, who doesn't like wine, they have a distillery on site, as well. Making their own wines, bourbon, moonshine, and rum, there is a little something for everyone! Right off of 33, Canal Winchester 674, turn on Winchester Pike and go check it out! You won't regret it! Oh yeah, they serve food and have live entertainment on a regular basis!
