Firstly it was good Nepali cultural food.Very good food buffet and everything is awesome. Food was always different taste and different menu. People and staff are very good and friendly and they served the food on time. Everything is good and It’s on the best locations. Food was spontaneous..
I will prefer the Himalayan grill and recommend other to try...
After Dakshin's decent into horrible food and service, a void of good Indian food in Gahana and it's surrounding areas was created. Enter Himalayan Grill. This place is amazing. Delicious food, incredible variety, amazing samosas and outstanding service. Always on time. Himalayan Grill is quickly becoming one of my new favorite restaurants.
I have eaten here about 5 times since they opened. The buffet is small but continues to improve each time. However, the buffet food is ALWAYS cold. When you mention it to the servers they give you a lesson in how to stir the food on the buffet before spooning it out. Yet it is still cold. There are other reviews that mention this as well. The steam table is not being operated properly. I suspect they keep it lower to increase the hold time of the food so that it doesn't dry out. I think it's time for me to move on and just pass on this one. Food held at substandard temperatures can be dangerous.
Prices were good. All the dishes were excellent and the servings were generous enough.
Everything was delicious, but I would have liked it spicier. Our party shared plates to try everything and even the people who ordered a level 2 (out of 5) said the 5 was delicious and not terribly spicy.
Decent atmosphere. Offers a combination of Nepali, Tibetean and Indian menu. Prices are decent. Service is good. Food is good, but combined overall makes it a good place to eat. This is my family's go to spot to get Nepali food if we want to get a sit down and nice experience.
