“The dining room is awesome. Retro 50s memorabilia adorn the walls, 50s music playing through a revamped old school looking juke box. Breakfast is pretty good I must say. French toast was very tasty, and my girls loved their Mickey Mouse pancakes. The variety of old fashioned milk shakes really gives that 50s feel. Our server was friendly and personable so I would recommend this place.”

“If you love loud sports bars and good food, eat here. There are things I like about this restaurant and things I don't. Like most service establishment's it is hard to keep good help and I understand that because service jobs suck. The food is great and the server's try to stay attentive but they are usually understaffed especially if you're in a bar and you want to drink. Very slow with the drinks if you're at a table. Ask for Felicia, she's the greatest.”

“I give it 4 stars for a few reasons. 1- the food has always been good there. I know they use a microwave, but it's never been rubbery. The taste has always been great. 2-the staff is always prompt and courteous. It appears to be a family run business with the children helping bus and wait on customers after school hours. 3- I'm a huge fan of entrepreneurship. I can tell this family works hard at what they do. I could whine about the building and furniture not being a little more current, but I think it just adds to the quaintness of this restaurant. It's small, they aren't financially strapping themselves down with a huge store front with only a handful of customers. They always seem busy. I appreciate the feel if the place. 4-I appreciate the music played and it's in a handy location for us.”

Mango curry is my favorite but I wish they would serve it in a shallow soup bowl as it's a little soupy... the milder you want it the more they cut the curry with coconut milk. But it's awesome. Brown rice option is nice. A great place for Thai!”

“Excellent beef & barley stew and the cob salad was among the best I've had at any restaurant for twice the price. If you don't absolutely love crumbled blue cheese, don't ask for it, they give you copious quantities. The burgers look to be full 1/2 lbs and hang off the buns. The fries are crisp without any of that objectionable oil flavor so prevalent in most restaurants these days. About the only thing lacking is more tables - we took the last one! Oh, and it's breakfast and lunch - they close at 2 except on Friday.”

“My husband and I stopped in for lunch while in the area. Nice family friendly restaurant, clean and comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the steak salad, steak was done perfectly & was a great cut, salad was fresh. My husband got a daily special that he enjoyed. Anytime we've gone to a diner type place the food tends to be greasy, not at Rise and Dine! My husband's home fries we delicious (I had to try them) they were seasoned and flavorful and not at all greasy. We will definitely be back when we're in the area!”
