Chuy's

I'm from Texas, and I'm picky. The food at Chuy's is authentic and tasty. Prices aren't bad. The service we received was excellent.

Very good place for Mexican. It was busy but we seared with a little wait. The chips and fresh salsa are very good. The meal came out quick and the food was great. Definitely going to go back soon.

Loved the lime and blackberry frozen swirl drink. The happy hour deluxe nacho car was amazing, fresh hot chips, ground beef, beans and queso. Dakota was amazing, very attentive, and patient. She answered all my questions, offered suggestions and offered a sample of the frozen rose when I was stuck between which drink to order. So sweet, love her.

Went on a Friday evening, which is my own fault. The hostess was beyond thrilled to help me, NOT. She didn't make eye contact, didn't smile, just said, "name?" And gave me a wait time before rolling her eyes and staring past me. Now I know everyone has off days, let along during dinner rush but a hostess is supposed to be your first impression of the restaurant staff, not a great start. The restaurant was packed and we couldn't hear the conversation at our table of 2. Now for the good. Our waitress was attentive, kept our chips stocked and our drinks full. We did receive large portions so be prepared for a box if you don't each much. I would recommend coming during an off time or not the weekend if you're interested. Probably won't return due to the atmosphere unless it's for a special event.

Food and price were great. Even the service was good. They were quick trying to get us out the door. We were not there that long, just over an hour. we had left a tip of 40%. That should have bought us some time to visit. That's the only reason it's not 5 ????.
