“I work in long term care as an activities director and there are times when the residents want to order in. This time they were psyched about getting Burger King. The day before the order in I brought the list of orders in (around 30) with a request to have it ready by 11:30. Not only was everything ready on time but every order was correct and perfect. The residents loved their lunches and couldn't thank me enough for getting it for them. Just wanted to give a shout out to the team for doing a fantastic job and making so many people happy, it's the little things in life that can mean so much. “I really like the vibe of this place. It is obvious that they have a lot of regulars and it felt like a homey neighborhood bar. We had the bacon ranch waffle fries as an appetizer, and the plate was as big as house. Incredible. I got the Boursin burger and it was cooked perfectly, hot and delicious. We had to wait a little while to get to place our order after getting our menus and drinks, but it was worth the wait.”

“Went to pick up pizza and was extremely crowded. They need to figure out a better way for people picking up pizza. Stood there for 20 minutes, credit card in hand and had no acknowledgement. Will not be back, never got pizza Went back and got pizza, tastes great but was cold when I got home and I live 5 blocks away. There was one lady that was really helpful but the whole experience was confusing. I have updated this from 1 star to 3 because of the taste and that wonderful woman!”

“Mom 'n 'em Coffee is the perfect neighborhood coffee shop and a great addition to Camp Washington. The Ferrari Brothers have beautifully restored a historic building that now offers a ton of space for meeting, hanging out with a book or laptop or stopping in to catch a quick bite. I'll update this when I've had a chance to stop in for wine and tin fish cuisine, but I can already attest that the breakfast is top-notch. The Dirty Nati is one of my new favorite breakfast sandwiches. Coffee from Deeper Roots, so you know it's quality. This is going to be a great neighborhood spot, and worth traveling to visit.”

“This is a new Melt, but with all of what made the old Melt great, plus some new fun. The interior is clean but fun, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious. The menu has a mix of options: vegan/vegetarian/meat, healthy/less healthy, and light/heavy. There's definitely something for everyone. I always say I'm going to get something different, but the veggie cheese steak is just too good to pass up. They do have a small bar with wine and beer and some really creative cocktails, but it's definitely a family-friendly restaurant.”

“When we first heard about Northside Country Club, we thought the people telling us about it were confused. We kept saying, "You mean, Northside Yacht Club?" Come to find out there actually is a Northside COUNTRY Club, and it's in the old Bistro Grace space. Apparently, it's some sort of stop-gap to keep the liquor license with the space. And that's all well and good and whatever. First and foremost, NSCC is cash-only. But there is an ATM on site. Second, ohmigosh... THE TOTS. The tots are just amazing. The ranch dipping sauce is really good. And the aioli is even better. We had the ham&cheese, thinking it would be a grilled cheese with ham. It was cold ham and a slice of cheese on toast. It was good but we were just expecting something else. We also ordered the BLT which was really good. Our friend had the Chcago dog and that looked really good too. Next time we go to NSCC, we'll be ordering BLTs and tots for days. Great stuff.”
