The two resaurants near us are getting a little worn and tired looking. I love the idea of old fashioned down home cooking and the menu reflects this. However we find everything to be a little too salty and some of the items taste too much like they're prepackaged.

My husband and I ordered the steak burger and the chicken, cranberry n pecan salad. They were both AMAZING! The burger was the thickest and juiciest I've had in a very long time. The caramelized onions were done to perfection! The waitress we had was very sweet, professional and never let us go without anything.

Food was fine. Restaurant clean and neat. The server was pleasant and capable. My biggest complaint about Bob Evans is that they frequently change the menu and discontinue things I like. I complained once and they told me I could order it anyway and when I tried the server was very indignant about it so apparently even though corporate says you can do something the individual stores say you can't. Examples of things they have added and discontinued: farm boy sandwich, Frisco salad, fried cheese appetizer...
