“I can't believe I waited so long to try this place out. I only live a couple blocks away. Anyway. I ordered the "take it out west" burger meal and it was one of the best tasting burgers I have ever eaten. The flavor and texture of it was superb. A bit greasy though. It came with a pile of fries with vinegar available to put on them just like fair fries! I will for sure order this a lot. I also got their "Goat" pizza to go to take to work with me. I tried a slice and it was very good. The flavors complimented each other for a very flavorful pizza. It too is a bit greasy. Overall I am so super satisfied with my meals I got from here. I will surely return for that burger. I can guarantee you that! I also can't wait to try those nachos I keep seeing pictures of.”

“My husband and I went here for our 10 year anniversary/baby moon and stayed in one of the cottages (Bittersweet). It was really beautiful, peaceful, and everyone we ran into was kind. There was a lot of attention to detail, which I appreciated. The food at Kindred Spirits was INCREDIBLE and we really enjoyed the butter cake for dessert. Our server Krista at dinner was awesome-- she had a very positive, upbeat personality and was enthusiastic about her job. The location of the Inn was ideal-- close to everything in Hocking Hills. If I had to give any criticism, it would be a small thing-- the bed in our cottage needed a new mattress. My side was severely indented which wasn't fun as a pregnant woman, but I still slept okay. Everything else in the cottage was great. :) Thank you for a wonderful stay. I'd love to return some day.”

“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with 10 guest this weekend. I called a head to see if they could accommodate us and they did within a half hour of our call. Our waitress was responsive, helpful and knowledgeable with all the questions our out of state guests (Wash DC., Miami Fl, and Dallas, Tx) had about the menu and drinks. The food was delicious (my 3rd visit), and I tried more items. My guests loved the food, the wines and beers and said the restaurant was up there with the restaurants back at home. Everyone was planning a trip back.”

“Beautiful place with a great, relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I wanted a weekend to relax and rejuvenate, and this was perfect. We stayed in the beautiful Mackenzie suite. Yeah, it isn't cheap, but with amazing food (I had so much fun seeing what was next in the multi-course meals) and an incredible location that includes a gorge and several waterfalls within an easy walk, it was well worth the splurge. Service was incredible, and, if you roam around the woods, you might even find some surprises among the trees! As our time at Glenlaurel ended with bagpipe music drifting across the green hills, the feeling of peace was sublime and well worth it.”

“Girls weekend started out with a 9 hole round of golf on Friday. Kevin at the pro shop could not have been more fun and hospitable. He helped us with a troublesome cart and even drove out after our round to retrieve a lost cell phone! Course was in great shape and it’s a very fun and challenging course with beautiful views! We were very torn between going back to play another 9 the next day and going hiking!”

We had pizza the first night we stayed in our cabin and went back the next day to pick up more supplies and she remembered all four of us by name! I will go back just because she is the owner!”

“My husband and I eat here once or twice a year when we rent a cabin nearby. Over the years, our meals here have been hit or miss; but today both meals were definitely hits. My husband ordered the chopped steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, and onion rings. I had the three-piece fried fish dinner with french fries and cole slaw. The portions we're hearty, the service was prompt, and everything was cooked to perfection.”

“I have to give Wendy's a 4-star for several reasons. Quality the food is slightly better than there competition and the price is commensurate with the quality. I like the fact that you can actually eat healthy without having to be too creative. Their salads are excellent. There are creative ways to order the same thing and pay much less however. So you want a taco salad why would you want to pay close to $7 for a seller they put together get a side salad get a smaller large chili I always ask for three or four packages sour cream and hot sauce mix that all together you'll be eating on that for 15 minutes. You won't go away hungry. I made a negative comment before about the quality of their chili and yes at that time it was not very good I do indeed think that they added ketchup or maybe too much tomato sauce to the recipe. The last time I ordered it it was as good as ever the chili has been consistent for as long as I remember.”
