Jack's Steak House

First time. Had the Texas burger and the sauce was a nice touch. Seems like Good local fair. No issues here with the service, food pace, or cooking. First trip warrants a second try next time we are in the area.

My husband and I eat here once or twice a year when we rent a cabin nearby. Over the years, our meals here have been hit or miss; but today both meals were definitely hits. My husband ordered the chopped steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, and onion rings. I had the three-piece fried fish dinner with french fries and cole slaw. The portions we're hearty, the service was prompt, and everything was cooked to perfection.

Easily the best wings I've ever had. Super nice staff, but service can be slow sometimes. The food easily makes the wait worth it.

It wasn't what we expected by the reviews. You walk in and it's more of a diner/cafe setup. Everything was cooked properly and wasn't bad but it didn't seem like they used any seasoning at all on their steak. They do have a good selection of bottled beer. The mac and cheese was great. Overall just not what we expected.
