“One of the very few places to eat in Gambier, the VI has a good menu, fresh ingredients, and a comfortable, laid back environment. Their salads are especially nice, and the fried fish is lovely. There's a full bar and usually plenty of open tables. It's less formal and has faster service than the Kenyon Inn around the corner.”

“Very nice hotel on the campus of Kenyon College. I've stayed here a couple times and while it's very old and a little run down, it's a nostalgic type of boutique hotel. Kenyon College alum Paul Newman photos line many of the walls at this hotel.”

“Love the fact they're doing local sourcing to provide healthy meals. The food itself needs a chef to do some basic instruction to enhance the flavors - nothing awful in any way, but it wouldn't take much to make the food really rock. Not complaining, just suggesting - and kudos for the healthy local sourcing!”
