Local Smoke BBQ

Amazing people and amazing food. I will definitely be back. The pork quesadilla was awesome and the smoked Mac and cheese was amazing.

Love the bbq. Glad we stopped. Brisket fajitas and wings were fantastic. Must get the jalapeño cornbread also. Happy Street brewery is opening next door so great to stop and get the best of both worlds brew and bbq. Highly recommend

Their portion sizing, atmosphere, and (most of all) the quality of the food served is a cut above most anything you could find in Mt Vernon. I never knew mac n' cheese could taste this good. Their house sauce is an exceptional blend of your BBQ sauce flavors, sporting just enough spice to the. I'd love to know how they smoke their meat.
My only complaint is that they currently use a stationary food truck as their kitchen while a small brewery is located within the building the truck counter faces. The outdoor seating is nice, but I feel that a more dedicated kitchen could produce multiple new dishes. Perhaps this is something they can plan for something similar to this in the future.
Other than complaining that they haven't spent enough money yet, I see great things in their future.

This is a very good BBQ spot. It's a trailer, so it can (and does) move. I had the pulled pork sandwich with beans and a special-of-the-day broccoli salad that was absolutely amazing. Good fresh tea, good looking sides. Great service with covered outside tables. I'll be back. The homemade BBQ sauce was a nice blend of sweet and tangy. I got the brownie (nearly fudge) and it was good. Plenty of food for the price.

Incredible service! Stopped here for the first time today and I will definitely go back. The service was great, the Garden Grilled Cheese was beyond AMAZING (it had tomato, pesto, and sunflower seeds on the bread crust). It was the BEST grilled cheese I have ever had (and I love grilled cheese). The workers were incredibly friendly and I had a great conversation while there. Definitely recommend and I'll definitely go back.
