Market Street Family Restaurant

Went to the restaurant because it was close and the other reviews were good. We walked in and were seated. Our waitress showed up and was on point. We ordered our food and got the soup and salad from the bar. Let's break it down like this.

Salad - Basic but fresh and good
Soup (2 choices: chicken noodle and clam chowder) both salty couldn't finish it.
Main dishes - pot roast and "shepherds pie"
The pot roast was good but way to salty.
The shepherds pie was just pot roast with mashed potatoes and cheese piled on top and stuck in the oven. Also too salty.
Overall, the service was good but food was too salty and not at all expected.

I had the build you own burger and fries it was delicious. My son had the chicken fingers and fries. He enjoyed them. The server was friendly and attentive. The hostess was nice but she never said a word not even a hello. Which was odd.

It was very good. Service was great, food was delicious and it was hot when it came to the table. It was not real crowded and all 7 of us sat at a round table and could hear each other very well. The whole experience was great. We will definitely be back.

First time eating at this restaurant. I am a executive chef that has worked in the business for over 40 years. I recommend this restaurant. Good food, nice menu, clean and neat facility. Also the service a little slow but friendly and thorough. I look forward to returning again.

Pretty nice place! It gets pretty packed in the mornings but we went Saturday late afternoon and the place was not to full. They have a well stocked salad bar and they refill it quickly. The meals themselves are good and pretty large portions. The restaurant is very clean and the wait staff was very accommodating to our child. Over all a nice family restaurant.
