Moe's Original Bar B Que

The steps are quite steep so I would advise being careful on the way down. The bartenders were nice and helpful with determining something new to try out. The bar area is small but not so small that you feel crowded. Karaoke was happening but it wasn't so loud that you wanted to run away.

Stopped in at Moe's today. Medium sized restaurant/bar. Ordered the pulled pork platter and a couple of ribs bones. Came with Mac n cheese and baked beans and cornbread. The sauce is Carolina Cayenne hot sauce which has a little heat. Nice Smokey flavor on the pulled pork, not over bearing. The Mac n cheese had plenty of cheese but a little lacking in the flavor department. Ribs had plenty of flavor, right off the bone. Baked beans were really good with some chopped pepper, pork, had a sweet taste to them. They had jalapeno cornbread which was outstanding, good solid consistency. Yummy. The size of the servings we're a little small but overall a good experience.

I'm from the South and never thought I could find comparable BBQ up here.......I was totally blown away by their pulled pork and brisket. The banana pudding is its own food group and we always leave stuffed and satisfied. The atmosphere is nice and it's always clean and inviting. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Their sweet tea is actually sweet! If you're in Granville (or nearby) do yourself a favor and stop in. They are reasonably priced and the food is fantastic.

So far, everything I have had here is fantastic. My favorite, so far, are their wings. First they are smoked and then fried I believe. Meat falls from the bones and the sauce they serve with it is fantastic. I cannot get enough of their wings. This place is casual and they have beerto wash down all the yummy food. Definitely worth a stop to try it out.
