“My daughter and I enjoyed the La Parrillada which was a wonderful meal for two. Among the several meats served the meal included 5 bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp which were delicious! Dinner was fantastic and more than enough food. We were happy to take the leftovers home. The restaurant is clean with a comfortable modern feel. The service was excellent and our food came out quickly. We will definitely be going back!”

“I have had from this restaurant twice now, both times through DoorDash. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality and freshness of this food! It's tough to get breakfast delivered right and they really do a great job. They give a GREAT portion for the price, too! I've had two skillets: Corned Beef Hash and The Kitchen. Both were incredible! I've also had their French Toast and Pancakes - WOW! Really great stuff. I see the negative reviews about wait times and I have to say both of my deliveries were fast and flawless. I don't always eat breakfast, but when I do, this place is top of my list in the area!”

“We loved it! My family and I ordered two large pizzas: the Supreme and the Hawaiian. We tried to cauliflower crust on the Supreme and it was a huge hit! Both pizzas were delicious. “I first ate this food from the food truck they have. I had everything from the food truck menu over a 6 months. With the opening of the restaurant they were able to add more to the menu. The restaurant is a little small and it kind of has an odd layout. The bottom line is if you can eat here or from the food truck, I think you should. You will not be disappointed.”

“I like the place. The band I'm in has played there 6 8 times or more. We usually have a good crowd. It's a fun dive bar, ( and I mean that in a good way) in Avon Lake. Food is always good, bar food, burgers, wraps, pizza, wings, onion rings all the usual. Beer is cold, and the staff is friendly. I always see the same folks behind the bar. “I met my parents here for lunch and they had a a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with some soup on the side and a Cod sandwich with fries. I had the soft tacos and they were quite delicious. I would definitely recommend them! Nice place, the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. There's a back deck with tables and chairs to sit at. There's a front area for congregating, to smoke, or just hang out. Also the wait staff was perfectly on point. Our waitress knew what she was doing and got it done. We never felt ignored or bothersome to her. She was on top of her game. So if you haven't gone to Jake's on the lake then you should. Only downside is it's not really on the lake it's across the street from it.”

I ordered a simple Titos and Redbull and the whole glass was filled over the top with ice and all Vodka.
