My husband and two young boys stopped in to the Texas Roadhouse in Sandusky OHIO for dinner after cedar point. Our visit was great , quick , easy and fast from beginning! Our waiter was great! The only problem was, which wasn’t a deal breaker , was our meal came out before our salad even made it out. So the manager came out, named Blake, and was very kind, calm, well spoken and was very apologetic. We said we didn’t care because the actually meal came out so fast! I watched that manager as he made his rounds around the restaurant as he asked how everyone was and I didn’t hear one complaint. He is an exceptional manager. He ended up comping our salads but we told him not the meal because nothing was wrong with our meal and he e appreciate him actually taking money off salad even though he didn’t have too and it wasn’t a big deal. But, the main point is, him as a manager. He seems to enjoy his job, his employees and respects his company, you can tell a great worker from one who is actually working just for the pay check. He was very good! .

My friend and I went on Friday, both of us for the first time, and it was awesome! The service was amazing. Our waitress was friendly and informed on the menu and she helped us with any and all questions we had and got us our food and refills quickly. I would 100% recommend the cheesy steak fries and the rolls! My entree was good, but not great. Got a sirloin steak covered in gravy (delicious) with mashed potatoes and corn on the side. But seriously, would go back for those fries, they were incredible. I'm thinking I'll order differently if I ever make it back to a Texas Roadhouse since I don't live close to one.

The one thing I didn't like was the mess of peanuts on the floor in our area that never got dealt with in the hour and a half we were there, but it was Friday evening and they were busy.

I would encourage anyone to visit. We go at least once a week. It's noisy, if you like a quiet place to eat. Everyone that waits on us has been very friendly and courteous. The price and quality are excellent. You can call ahead and I like that.

I've been to Texas Roadhouse many times, but this was different. I called to place a order to go and was placed on hold. I then made an amazing discovery. The song that plays on hold. The Texas Roadhouse song! "We got ribs! Hardy steak! Bread just as good as your grandma makes! So come on in, to Texas Roadhouse." Best country song ever. Has been stuck in my head for the last 13.5 hours even though I only remember the chorus. Food was good to.
