“If you want something that is well worth the visit and the price tag, Brisket with Mac n cheese and Jambalaya! I had the privilege of trying the Texas ribs, the baby back and the pulled pork dinner on a resent visit. The Texas were 2/3 fat, the baby back had no flavor at all and the pork had little flavor as well. There are only 2 bbq options on the table which seems pretty slim. The cornbread had to be one of the driest nastiest things I’ve tasted. BUT! The brisket, Mac n cheese and the rice were down right amazing! The staff was very pleasant as well. My personal opinion is if you want ribs, Famous Dave’s are much better. If you want Brisket this is your place! I cook for a living and this is my honest opinion. Lastly the environment inside was perfection!”

“I had the fish and chips special and potato salad. The fish came with in house tartar sauce. The fish was excellent, the tartar sauce was something that you could dip an old shoe in and it would taste good! And the potato salad was simple but excellent! Lots of celery. I will be back.”

“Slower service when its not busy but faster service when the place is packed??? Overall the food is always outstanding. The place is clean 75% of the time and the prices are competitive! I'd say overall a 4.5 but might as well say a 5 even tho it's not always clean and usually fast only when busy. It makes sense tho the busier a place gets the adrenaline of the shift gets higher and you move!”

“My husband and two young boys stopped in to the Texas Roadhouse in Sandusky OHIO for dinner after cedar point. Our visit was great , quick , easy and fast from beginning! Our waiter was great! The only problem was, which wasn’t a deal breaker , was our meal came out before our salad even made it out. So the manager came out, named Blake, and was very kind, calm, well spoken and was very apologetic. We said we didn’t care because the actually meal came out so fast! I watched that manager as he made his rounds around the restaurant as he asked how everyone was and I didn’t hear one complaint. He is an exceptional manager. He ended up comping our salads but we told him not the meal because nothing was wrong with our meal and he e appreciate him actually taking money off salad even though he didn’t have too and it wasn’t a big deal. But, the main point is, him as a manager. He seems to enjoy his job, his employees and respects his company, you can tell a great worker from one who is actually working just for the pay check. He was very good! .”

Example: our cashier needed some help taking off an extra drink that was accidently added to our order and we ended up just getting the drink to get out of there (to go order took 20 minutes in store) All in all worth it though. The food was fresh. I normally get the homestyle chicken sandwich and have had chicken that has been down right disgusting at other Wendy's. I will take the added time any day to get the fresh food.”

“It was busy. Lots of people in this restaurant and its only 9am. I consider it as a good sign. Its a nice place. The servers, you can tell they're pros. I only saw 3 of them handling the entire restaurant running around in circles...Remembers everything! And i wasn't served any less than expected as a good service.(.it was a good service.)I enjoy watching them work like clockwork its amazing. By the counter where i and my family sat you can see the kitchen. There's 2 cooks and they are amazing too. Pros. I haven't been at Hazel's for a very long time and I always order the same thing. The meat sensation skillet sunny side up eggs and rye toast... but i got the white toast this time around... the same goodness as i remembered. Food quality hasn't changed. That's another good sign. If you haven't been here try this place out. The prices are good.”

“Always look forward to coming here for breakfast. The Lowell street skillet is my favorite, kids love the "mancakes" (pancakes with breakfast meat inside). Regular pancakes are unlike any other. They have a sweet yellow birthday cake flavor and always cooked perfectly golden. Highly recommend dining here. Not so good for large groups as this is a popular breakfast spot and seating is limited.”
