“Stopped into Donny’s for dinner. Everyone who worked there was super friendly. Our servicer, Hannah, was attentive and extremely nice. She made some suggestions from the menu. We started off with the cheese curds for an appetizer and then we ordered a Donny Burger with fries and a Bacon Burger with cheese and fries. It was a tough call between the wings, burgers, or cheesesteaks. I love that the buns for our burgers were toasted. Toasted buns always amps up the burger for me. There are 7 large screen tv’s all around the restaurant. This makes it perfect for watching college football games, professional football games, hockey, baseball or any sport. The walls are decorated in OSU & Cleveland Browns artwork along with local HS football uniforms. There is a full bar that is nicely stocked. This is a great local family-owned business. I loved learning it is a women owned business. It is owned by 2 sisters. They offer carry out and dine in. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great local spot for some great bar food, salads, flatbreads, handheld sandwiches. They have a great kid menu as well.”

“Best thing to happen in Wellington since I moved to the area about 15 years ago!! The food is GREAT the service is good and the Texas margarita is outstanding! I try something different every other time I go...but my go to menu item is the seafood chimichanga!! The corn tortillas are scratch made and delicious! If you happen to get Chico as your server prepare to be wowed by his service! Finally a really good place to eat and enjoy company in our little town! I wish them MUCH success!!”

“Was out in the area and needed some dinner. Chose this place based on reviews. While some reviews have disappointed, this place certainly did not! I had the rib eye steak sandwich that was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our bartender Sherrie was a joy to talk to and provided excellent service. The food and bar menu were excellent. Definitely would go out of my way for here. The Bloody Mary Sunday bar sounded excellent and worth the trip.”

“Wellington Burger King with the playland rates only an OK today. Went there for a Sourdough King Sandwich and was allowed to order it before being told it wasn't available. And the playland was pretty Dusty. Quite Dusty. Not cleaned lately Dusty. Kids were pulling out and playing with the hair stringers of dust.”

I have yet to go somewhere else in Lorain, Ashland, or Medina Counties that match the size of the cinnamon buns and Apple fritters! Bonus... they taste awesome as well! And... for the price you just can't beat it! My pictures from my cellphone don't do the size justice. They just re-opened this bakery under new owners and management this past November (2018) and they have improved over the last few months perfecting their product! If you have not tried this bakery out yet get there... and if you tried it out when they first opened and have not been back the last couple months.... Try it again! I'm excited to see what else they create for specials the rest of the year and upcoming holidays! ❤”

“It is what it is - a corner restaurant. Nothing fancy, but a pretty diverse menu and generally good, friendly service. The breakfast special is my favorite, followed closely by their gyro. I'm not much into fries, but I really like theirs and the orders are so generous that we typically split an order when eating sandwiches. Prices are pretty reasonable.”

“Though there have been issues at this location In the past, the overall qualty of food has improved immensely over the last few months. My food always comes out, fresh, hot and properly prepared. I'm not one to call and complain to a place, however I called in on my last visit just to complement the experience. I was told the new general manager is getting back to basics and it seems to be working well.”
