Chubby's America Grill

Great place to have a good meal. Too bad they are closing for business forever today on Alexis Rd. after selling so many prepaid half price meals to people. How do they plan to honor them?

Not as good as it used to be. Ordered Reuben Balls and 2 of them came out overcooked. They looked like black chunks of coal, but they still served them to us. I didn't complain and waited for our food to arrive. It was burger night, so everyone at the table ordered burgers. The burgers were pretty good and juicy. The fries were overcooked and dry. So overcooked, you could crack them in half like a burnt potato chip. I couldn't believe they even served them to us. I've been to Chubby's 10-15 times and noticed it has been slowly declining. I don't know if I'll try Chubby's again.

We had 2 great meals, Chubby Mac ( mac n cheese on top of boneless chicken chunks with choice of sauce on chunks) was a large serving. Other meal was the Apple stuff hamburger meal with apple chunks mixed in with burger & cooked together, also has Apple Butter on top of burger and all the other normal fixings that go with a great burger, had a really awesome flavor,was something great that you don't see cooked together to often, waitress was very friendly & helpful in any questions that were asked, had a great feeling atmosphere,had TV's on most of the wall's & all on different programs to watch while your waiting for your meal, will definitely go back to the Alexis road restaurant,very well priced for the amount of food that you receive, hopefully your experience is as great as ours

This place was recommended to us by the front desk attendant at our hotel in Toledo. The food is solid, standard bar fare, and had a good variety of options. My steak sandwich was perfect, and the steak was cooked just how I ordered it. If you're looking for a restaurant to have dinner, and you're in the area, this is a pretty good choice.
