They have good drink specials and a room with a door that goes up so it's becomes a covered patio, which is splendid. “This was my first time visiting, upon arrival I was greeted by Pryce and asked what I’d like to drink. I told him the sort of beers I liked, and he suggested a couple, I chose Masthead Brewing Co’s Single Origin Coffee Stout. I’m not a beer connoisseur so I’m not going to try and explain it in detail. It smelled just like a great cup of coffee and had a smooth taste. Out of most of the bars downtown I visited that day, I enjoyed Tin Can the most. Thanks for the great service and beer.”

It’s been over ten minutes now of us just sitting here at our table with our waitress standing at the bar talking to the bartender & other waitresses... currently waiting on a box & the receipt because we were going order dessert, but considering the fact our waitress is terrible we don’t even want to wait any longer. Boneless wings great! Service NOT AT ALL. My husband and I love eating out. We are great tippers. And I work in food service so my expectations aren’t high because I know the struggle.. but I also know when a waitress isn’t doing her job. Time 1600 even Google says this isn’t a busy period.”

“I had the stuffed cabbage -- most excellent. For something of its size its surprisingly light. Doesn't feel heavy at all. Hot dog has a snap to the casing and the chili had a nice bite to it. Pickles were good, also had bite, at least a little. The roast beef was good, the gravy slightly salty, but I like it that way. Only split from my wife and I was over the fries and mashed potatoes. She liked neither, I liked both. But, it takes all kids, right?”

“Came in for the family feast special. It was a great deal and great portions! The meal fed 5 adults and a child happily! Our server was really sweet! She told us she recently moved back to Toledo and she totally rocked our service! She brought my son a cup of ice cream before we left. He absolutely loved it! She went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable! My only complaint was not with her, but with the hostess. She seated us immediately after seating our server a big party and she really had her hands full! The service was slow because of this. But her outstanding service made it worth it!”

“We are in town visiting for a few days. Tonight was our last night here. We decided that we would go somewhere that we could walk to from our hotel. This was an unassuming front. When we walked in we were greeted so nice by the 2 gentlemen downstairs who were cooking. Once upstairs the waitress/bartender greeted us and gave us the special of personal pan pizzas! She was so sweet and friendly. They were speedy and very attentive, letting us know pizza would be out in 4 minutes even. We got spinach artichoke dip and then each of us (4 in total) got the personal pizzas with different toppings. The dip was amazing as were the pizzas. When we got ready to leave we also got ice cream cones to walk back to our room. Do not let the outside unassuming front keep you from trying this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is great and priced amazingly.”

“Incredible food. Perfectly cooked. Wait staff was polite, helpful and not hovering. Casual, no pressure-just sit back and enjoy your meal and conversation. Was my mother's birthday, they brought her a cake that was pure Bliss. Well worth the price. Atmosphere was sedated. Beautiful view of the river (grain ship went by was enjoyable). Place is older (over 150 years old) but very well maintained. Would recommend it to all. Only reason not 5*'s is nobody gets 5. At least a 4.8.”

“Went there for a early 4:30 dinner on a Saturday and found we had the whole place to ourselves. Very comfortable seating and a great view no matter of the location of your table. The menu has a nice selection of appetizers and sandwiches. We tried the pretzel w/beer cheese dip which was really good. All four of us order the perch sandwich and onion rings. We were all very pleased with the size of the perch fillets that were quite thick , lightly breaded, and nicely seasoned. With the large portion of onion rings there was no way any of us could partake desert. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful with making selections. By the time we finished with our meals there were about a dozen other tables occupied and others waiting to be seated. We all enjoyed ourselves and hopefully we'll get back here to do it again. ????”
