“Top Notch Meals is just what downtown Youngstown needed! I have been eating Vershanda's (owner) food for 15 years and it never disappoints. My favorite is the shrimp and grits. Be sure if you catch the lamb chops on special to get yourself some of those too! Top Notch Meals is located in the food court of the Phar Mor building. “This Subway is part of the BP gas station off of exit 46. The ladies working here have a great sense of humor and shared a laugh with me while they set up my sandwich. “My husband and i first met Nick around 1963 when he had his first pizza shop on Belmont Avenue. It was the best ever pizza and all these years later he is still producing the best pizza in our area. “This place is new and PHENOMENAL! This is not Greek baklava. It is Turkish baklava. (I had never heard of it before. There is something about the dough. They make it fresh themselves. It got a nice flakiness and caramelized crunch but it is nice, moist chewiness to it. That make their own fillings: walnut, pistachio and cashews. They also make out parts, the sticks with mixed herbs. The dough is not sweet but very delicious, and the have one the looks like a bun bit is a non-sweetened dog as well. Delicious through and through, nice and buttery on is own, as well as an entree before the meal, with the meal, or after the meal. The owners are very kind and and open. I first stopped and try to see if three was a sign for any information to post. It is the same outer door as Subway but 2 different inside doors for each business. One of the owners stopped by. I told him I was updating including about new places, etc. He said they had just opened a coupe weeks ago. He was long closed, but he invited me in to try a simple and see the place do I could post pictures and even try done. He had limited capacity because there need to be refrigerators and not be left out overnight. Be added me even major when I asked him if I could buy some at that hour. He agreed. They are mainly doing party ready orders but well do smaller also in orders. EVERYONE DEFINITELY NEED TO COME UP THE OHIO BAKLAVA FACTORY. It is the same plaza as the now closed Family Video sent the Subway which is still open”

“I've not been here in quite some time. They have leather recliner chairs that are nice to sit in.. however, whenever anyone moves they are quite noisy and they take away from the viewing experience. You also have to pick your seats on a computer screen when you purchase tickets...call me old fashioned, but I like to pick out my seat on my own when I get inside the theater. But the theater itself is very nice.”

There was a time when all four Cornersburgs were cutting costs and using cheaper ingredients, but the new owner of the Poland location is doing a FANTASTIC job! He has restored the Cornersburg name to its former glory!! Every time I'm in Youngstown, I stop by the Poland Cornersburg and pick up two pizzas: an original with green peppers and one that's Brier Hill style. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS PIZZA. TRUST ME. “Awesome Italian food! Great atmosphere, pleasant staff, generous portions, and the best coffee around! Visited for Mother's Day dinner with my family and everyone enjoyed themselves, and their meal. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants around! Best part was how quickly they cleared a table for our family. Waiting time was supposed to be an hour, and we were seated in about 20 minutes.
