Topped Ice Cream & Eatery

We were on our way home (Toledo area) from Columbus and found this cute little place. They just so happened to be celebrating their One Year Anniversary (what a year to start a business, right?!?) Y’all.... they were amazing! The owners were super friendly, the employees explained their “topping process” and were incredibly friendly AND THE ICE CREAM STOLE THE SHOW! If you’re in the area or up for a road trip... check them out. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic, fun staff and cool shop. Really good paninis and salads. But the ice cream is truly the big deal. They make a warm waffle taco and homemade whipped cream, and you can tell the gelato/ice cream is high quality. Our family, both the kids and adults, are big fans!!

I love this little shop. Incredibly friendly staff in a delightful atmosphere. So many nice touches: the watercolors on the wall, the beautiful exposed stone wall, the striped awning outside, and the special ledge for kids to sit at and eat. It's fun to sit by the window and watch the downtown activities. Don't miss the bicycle-themed stools for those who eat at the bar.

The Panini sandwiches are delicious, especially the chicken one. I'm partial to the Buckeye Bash ice cream, but my absolute favorite is the pumpkin ice cream when it rotates through.

Awesome addition to downtown, if you want cheap ice cream go to McDonalds. This is high quality scoop shop, made in Ohio ice cream! not fake ice cream. Paninis are to die for.
