“As always our food was hot and delicious! They even brought out fresh leeks to put in our soup! Aside from the fact that the food is amazing , the service we received is always above par, most notably yesterday after our home caught fire we found ourselves here eating lunch. The waitress was so kind and so comforting and I don't know if you can understand what I mean by saying that she didn't even say a word but how she treated us was very touching and endearing. She said nothing while we were crying at her table and also bought our meals! What a great supportive community they have here and if I could give this a thousand stars I would! It's not very often someone touches you the way our waitress touched us. Our experience there was way more than just food! Thank you to House of Hunan and our wonderful angel of a server”

“We loved the food but service terrible. Tried 1st time in December. Grandson wanted milk told us they didnt have milk. Yet it was on the menu. Not that they were out but didnt have any. Tried in February and food came out one person at a time. With several minutes between each person. However my grandson could get milk this time . may give a third chance as food is very good but if service is not good we wont go back.”

“Advertised as the Worlds best bologna sandwich. They are correct...it is! Nothing fancy inside or out, that’s not why you go here. The Bologna sandwich tastes NOTHING like one you have ever had, it has its own distinct flavor. They are the best on the planet. The other reason people come are the pies. Best to share a piece. The slices are ginormous and tastes like your Grandma made. No wonder people travel far and wide to this dinky little town. It’s well worth the drive and don’t be in a hurry they are always busy for a reason.”
