Mr. Pollo Mexican Grill

Solid addittion to the Dayton area. Whole Chicken, Rice, Fries and Tres Leches was very good. Was worth the drive for takeout for the family.

The food was great, with a couple changes could be outstanding. I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant where they didn’t have queso or any tomato based salsa. They had pico and a few other options but it’s not what I’m used to. They had plastic utensils that were not very sturdy. When you tried to cut or mix anything they were not very useful. We ordered two sodas and they were flat tasting and no carbonation. Also the ice had to delivered from the kitchen area. Will definitely go again but I can say confidently that the order will be to go.

Food is excellent, definitely recommend any of the tacos! Plenty of seating and very clean! Friendly staff!

I've been waiting for Mr. Pollo to open for quite a while & the wait was worth it! I already had picked up their menu & my wife & I knew what we wanted. We had combo #1, a chicken breast & wing. With the combo you get, along with salsa & 3 tortillas ( either flour or corn) 2 sides. I got refried beans & 3 roasted peppers. My wife got Mexican rice & birrrio beans. The chicken is roasted, not fried & was awesome! Juicy, tender & flavorful! All the sides were very, very good. The salsas were also good. We will be back..
