We have been to just about every Thai restaurant in the area, this one we specifically marked a 4. The service was good, nice clean area, food was pretty good was bummed that I asked for pad Thai at the medium spice (three levels mild, medium, hot) and it had no spice at all. Serving size was much smaller than other pad Thai restaurants, but the coconut curry dish was delicious. So overall 4 star due to the serving size and no heat. Other than that it was a great spot.
This is delicious, authentic Thai food prepared by a lovely young couple from Thailand. The menus offers a large variety and everyone I tried was amazingly full of flavor. The stir fries (entrees the call them) are so good and the curries ... yum! Very clean, pleasant atmosphere and they are fast. Another DAYTON gem!
First time here and very pleased. Delicious food. Flavors are well executed. The sauce of the Basil BBQ Duck was savory and smooth, a must try. The Pad Prink King with Tofu was quite good, lemongrass flavor was pronounced.
Nice place for a bite to eat, date night or just because.
The overall atmosphere was simplistic with a very open cafeteria style dining area. The dining room was packed and we were initially given a 20 minute wait for seating. When we were finally seated we were all given waters 30 minutes in and were not asked if we wanted anything else to drink or appetizers to start with. We were not even acknowledged by our waiter he just set the drinks down and walked back to deal with the carryout area. There was one man working the carryout, waiting tables, and cleaning tables initially. A woman did come out from the back at one point with a rice dish and to grab some dishes from a few of the dining tables. We finally ordered our food after waiting an additional 20 minutes after receiving our waters. The food was good. The pad thai was subtle in regards to flavor but that was what I was looking for. The shredded peanuts did not add much to the flavor. The tempura was very crispy and fresh. The mango sticky was flavorful and very tasty as was the coconut ice cream. I would go back but I would get carry out since they appear to prioritize that over dine in. They were also severely understaffed on the front end with one person doing basically everything since the woman did not help enough to make a difference with wait times.
We just tried some takeout from here and the food was excellent, and the service was very prompt and friendly. I put on my order online and it was being bagged as I walked in at the time I had picked. We got the Crispy Chicken and Kao Soy Curry with pork. Both were excellent, and I was even dipping the chicken on some of the curry. I'll definitely have to be come back again.
