Blue Crab Juicy Seafood & Bar

Worth the wait! A large party came in before us so it took a little while to get our meal but in the meantime the soft shell crab appetizer came out quickly. The decor helped entertain us as well. Our server was friendly and explained the menu very well. Our food was nice and hot and the portions sizes did not disappoint. We will definitely be going back again.

Interesting place. Seems like they're still trying to figure things out (decor seems a mix of Chinese restaurant, Captain D's, and a sports bar). I understand it's fairly new, although the building has clearly been around awhile. We ate there around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon so while busy, the place wasn't full and there was no wait.

I had a half pound headless shrimp and sausage combo with Cajun seasoning and my dining companion had a fried chicken tender basket with Cajun fries. The service was very polite but a bit uneven. The basket came out several minutes before my meal and was what you'd expect - fried food on wax paper in a red plastic basket. My meal came in a steam bag with a plastic bib (which my server seemed like he was going to try to awkwardly put on me) and some disposable gloves. The bag was placed on a metal platter and was accompanied by a small steel trash bin, which was actually pretty handy and fun. The food was messy but tasty - I understand why they bring the bib, gloves, and trash can. The shrimp wasn't peeled but was well seasoned and warm. Portions were quite generous so the prices ($$) are fair.

Didn't like that there was 4 in our group. One person food came early. The rest of our food came almost 30 mins later. There was a couple next to us. One of them got there food while the other waited almost 30mins later. Our waitress was very good. But stated this is something that happens all the time that she doesn't like either. The food was pretty good will admit that. But not worth the wait when you come together but can't eat together.

I'm so excited to have this place near me! I went for lunch the other day and had a great time. It's definitely a crab shack, so don't think you'll be getting grilled salmon and stuff. The fish was reasonably priced and the setting was fresh and fun! I got snow crab and fried calamari and ugh, so good! Can't wait to eat here again.

We came to Blue Crab and the food was very good. I would recommend you ask for extra seasoning but the Juicy special seasoning was phenomenal! If you like a lot of spice I’d recommend extra hot. However, this food was worth every penny and you get a lot for your money! Our waitress was very accommodating and attentive to our needs.

I’d give 5 stars but the time we spent waiting was a little long. It took 25 min to get our appetizers and an hour for our food. This place did just open like a week ago so it’s normal to experience kitchen delays. I hope to see this improve over time and I look forward to coming back in the future!

If you’re not willing to give grace to the staff then wait a few months when they’re in a better swing of things.
