Ate lunch today, with my father. I'll be honest and say that in the past I didn't like when he wanted to dine here. However, today we went and it was a new manager, new servers, new cooks and a new menu. They still had some of the old menu but (I think) made with the new owner's recipes.

We had: Vegetable Samosa, Goat Briyani and a combo lunch portion of Shrimp Moolie. The combo included the entree, rice, naan and a portion of carrot halwa.

Everything about today's visit was amazing! The table service was superb! Drinks were refilled often. The timing of the food being brought out was perfect (meal was served not long after we finished appetizer but not too much of space in between). They were very conscious of dietary restrictions (I can't have dairy). The owner and cook came out to greet us, make sure we enjoyed the meal and thanked us for visiting.

Above all, the food was cooked great and tasted superb. The samosas tasted like a family recipe. The goat in the briyani was very tender. I personally have never had shrimp moolie, before today. This was an extra special treat as I often don't get to have curry with gravy when dining out, because of the use of heavy cream and ghee. This dish has a coconut milk base and was delicious.

If you haven't been here, you must check it out. If you've been here before and like me did not really enjoy the experience, give it another chance and visit under the new management. I will definitely visit again.
