Steak 'n Shake

I used to love steak and shake. But their menu options do not stay consistent. For one example I loved that salad they had with avacado in it. Gone .. The price of their tea has doubled. And their customer service is so bad and unprofessional. The only thing saving it from a one or two star review is their cherry coke made grenadine. Yes, it's that good.

I would have given five stars but sometime their a little slow to seat you. I also don't like my bread on a sandwich to be greasy. I asked that they not butter it or whatever they do. Sometimes it gets to the cook and sometimes it doesn't. Love their little fries and milkshakes!

I can't begin to explain how much I love steak and shake. I'm from California and I never had one until I moved out of state. For the money it cannot be beat. I've never had bad service or any other things that I see people complaining about. I really do like the taste of the food especially the burgers and shakes. I had the hot dog and it was okay. I really enjoy the chili. Not being from this area I really appreciate it is not Cincinnati style. the only thing that could really use some improvement is the fries. Sometimes they seem to lack any flavor at all. But even then I like the fact that they are shoestring.
