Ollie's Place Craft Beer and Whiskey

Let it burn. What was once my favorite bar of all time has closed for good. All of this due to poor decisions (or lack thereof) from the owner, Mike, who successfully ran this place into the ground with no remorse. Every server and bartender of this establishment over the years gave everything they had to try to survive the continuing fire. Despite incorrect obligations, there was never any threat to Ollie's immense selection on their store side, and now the Centerville and Dayton area will suffer greatly to try to find a shop even remotely similar. Also missed will be the insane collection of whiskeys that the bar also stocked, almost rivaling Century Bar, but never advertised or pushed to sell. I look forward to seeing all my favorite bartenders, Chad, Max, Jordan, Michelle, Brittney, Jayson, and Brendan, the ultimate beer god who ran the store, on the other side.

RIP Ollie's Place. I learned so much about my love of whiskey and tried so many here, through meet ups with friends, celebrations of my wedding, and meeting new people. Cheers.

Awesome 3 page beer lineup (probably 40 beers). Decent prices. Awesome bottle shop connected next door. BTW... 3/19 update.... CLOSING PERMANENTLY IN 2 WEEKS

Great selection and friendly staff. Sad we just discovered them at least we got some deals on the way out. Good luck.

Under staffed, 1 waitress for 2 groups attending the evening I was there. I was told 2 people called off. The food was over priced for what you receive. The food was cooked right and flavorful. Some of our party never received food they ordered. I will say the one waitress was attempting to do what she could with help of management. Refills were scarce. I hope this is not a common occurrence. They had a huge selection of craft beer. The menu should include a side besides chips for the price. I will try them again if in that plaza, but it will not be a destination to crave for.

Great selection of craft beers. Wish the staff was a little more knowledgeable of the product. One employee said that she didn't even drink beer and want able to help me at all.
