City Barbeque

One of the better BBQ's. Brisket is excellent and pulled pork is great. Rib's are just OK. Their sides are all great BBQ beans, greens and Mac&Cheese are favorite! Their BBQ sauces are excellent the hot is favorite but you have to like the heat. One criticism! I tried their smoked ham for Easter and was not pleased. It was way too big the bone probably weighed two lbs. and it took a skilled butcher to carve it. I was in the restaurant business for 35 yrs. and was all I could do to carve it. It must have weighed 15 to 20lbs. Would have liked smaller hams 5 to 10 lbs. All said it was the best tasting ham I've ever had and I include Honey Baked!

Yum yum! Have never had a bad experience or meal. From a simple sandwich to ribs, the meats are smoked to perfection. The choices in bbq sauce, also perfect for any tastes. The sides are varied and you again will not be disappointed. Had an order recently placed online for my husband birthday to serve 15 and arriving slightly early my large order was bagged and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed

We went on a Friday night and they were busy, but everyone was friendly and helpful. The meat was perfectly flavorful and tender.

My sister-in-law has celiac disease and cannot have any gluten at all. She informed the cashier when we placed our order and everyone took it very seriously, changed their gloves and took all the required precautions for her safety.

When we were finished with our meals, the staff were very welcoming and offered to help clear our table.

Rustic barn style decor with wood and metal chairs and tables. Good selection of 5 standard meats, house made sauces and sides to suit most taste buds. The brisket was as tender as I have even eaten, loved the red potatoes that were used for the potato salad, and the moist tender mini corn bread that probably should have been two servings (but I couldn't stop eating!) The lite lunch portion (small sandwich with 2 regular sides) was perfect without feeling like I was overstuffed.

It was all that I hoped for, and enough so that I ordered a lunch to go. Will stop in again if I am in the area.

Very tasty food, love the sandwiches and the sauce selections are great. I love the down home vibe and atmosphere too. Always easy ordering and the food is served quickly. The sweet tea is my favorite, better than anywhere else around.
