“Overall, we had a good experience and had a lot of fun. Our kids really enjoyed bowling and the food was delicious! I strongly appreciate those factors because those are huge. However, there is room for some improvements! For starters, there needs to be a diaper changing station placed in the restrooms. Bowling/Games = Family friendly. Which includes children. I was very disappointed (as I'm sure other people were) that I had to change my child in the middle of a crowded area. Second, the service could improve. We saw our waitress a total of three times. To order drinks, food and to have food checked up on delivery to the table. My drink was empty when she checked on our food and we never saw her after that. I asked a waitress from a different table for a refill. Then a completely different waitress came back for us to settle our bill prior to asking if we were done or needed anything else. Overall good experience, just some kinks to work out!”

If it keeps the prices this reasonable though, I am not complaining. Everything was very good, hot and fresh. Service was good, staff was friendly. Small dining room, but quiet and not so busy that you can't get a seat. At the time we were there anyway. Not an obvious location. In a residential area. But would definitely come back.”

“I went here with a buddy of mine for a late lunch after riding the back roads for a bit. I really wasn't expecting much. It was a small place, but very welcoming. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and some jalapeno caps. I love Reuben sandwiches, and this one was so delicious. I was bewildered that this little place had such wonderful corned beef and the saurkraut wasn't lacking either. The service was excellent. I don't think my glass was ever empty. The staff were very kind and polite. Overall, this Tavern is a great little gem.”

“The line went very quickly. I'd say about 10 minutes and the line was all the way to the road. My large frappe was filled all the way to the top and I was so happy about that. “As the main dining room in the Burr Oak Lodge, we were delighted. It's a casual setting with a central bar. We got served on off hours between 2-5pm, to a limited menu, which was welcomed by our large party. We were happy with pizzas, salads and adult beverages. The breakfast buffet, not included, was great too. Breakfast starts at 8am but staff was accommodating to our grab & go. There's also limited outside seating to enjoy nature and the lake views.”
