Shawnee Lodge & Conference Center

When I day hike , backpack or ride bicycles in the forest I often stop at the lodge to eat and to look in the gift shop. The times I have stayed there I really enjoyed it. It is a beautiful lodge.

My family and I recently stayed a night at Shawnee Lodge.
The room and the view was very nice. It was comfortable for 5 us (2 adults and 3 children).
The pool and game room made for a ton of fun for the children.
However... the service was extremely slow & the staff, primarily in restaurant was not friendly. We waited for 10 minutes, with waitresses staring straight at us before a single one of them acknowledged us.
Now I will say the staff at the front desk were amazing & super friendly.

The lodge is magnificent! Very nice trails. Very well marked trails. My only complaint is that all the trails on the trail map are the same color and none of the trail names are listed on the map. The lake is gorgeous. Lots to see and do. Disc golf, game room, swimming pool. The lodge has rooms for rent as well as cabins and campsites in the woods. We will definitely be going back!

Awesome place for families or just couples! Peaceful and relaxing any time of year! Swimming pool indoor and out hot tub. Arcade is a great feature for kids and adults still young at heart. The is a fireplace in the lobby great for relaxing and reading a book. There's also a gift shop. There is a bar for adults to have some adult time and a restaurant for all to eat without going anywhere. The staff are great and very helpful if you need any help with anything. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. This isn't our first time staying and definitely won't be our last. Christmas time at Shawnee Lodge is the best with all the Christmas trees and decorations!
