John's Grille

It has always been a family favorite. After moving out of town, it was a nice treat to visit again. The fries are always amazing and I had the steak on a stick with the dijon butter! We love John's!

To preface, I have to say that the food was great. Actually really good; it's one of my all-time favorites. But the service was kind of terrible. It always seems way too slow, even when the restaurant isn't busy.

I can be patient with a wait if it's a one-time thing, or if there's a huge line-up of customers, but every time I'm here, I feel like we're forgotten about.

Maybe I'll just get carry-out here.

Good atmosphere, pretty good selection of food. You can get almost anything you want and the quality is definitely there. It's become one of my regular places to go.

This is actually an edit to a previous review, and I had to take away a star. My husband and I come here fairly often, weekly usually. They have a wide variety of food on the menu, plenty of craft beer choices. The food is usually excellent. It's a little pricey, which I don't mind since it's fantastic. And the service is sometimes slow or inconsistent. The most irritating thing though, is that they pick and choose when they take carry out orders. I don't understand the concept of turning paying customers away. When I've been thinking about a Johns burger all day, and I call for carry out, only to be told they aren't doing carryout tonight, that makes me angry.

I always love this place. Cozy atmosphere with great food. Can't really go wrong with anything from the menu.
