Warm and cozy wood fired pizza joint! Amazing crust! Red sauce delicious! Wine selection is meh ...thus 4 stars. Update 5/20/19 :Ordering from door dash not a great idea. Pizza cold and well.... not crisp. Salad not as described in menu. Ordered the pizza joint salad, got spring mix lettuce and no dressing and a sprinkle of cheese. Was supposed to be bibb, spinach and romaine with two types of cheese and dressing. We had to bake the pizza and find dressing ( fridge broke for 3 days, thus ordering out). Not quite what we're hoped for for$40. (Small pizza). But eating there has always been great! Will continue to go in person. Perhaps ordering on slice would have been better. Never tried it.
Super friendly staff and owners. Pizza was superb. The diablo pizza was SO spicy for you heat lovers out there. Tons of choices in a quaint environment with a great patio.
I have tried several different pizzas here, and they are generally pretty good. Very pricey though. $15 for a 10" pepperoni and sausage pizza.
What isn't good here is the service. Every time I've been there, the wait staff will pretty much ignore you after dropping off your pizza. They disappear. Want a refill on you drink? Extra napkins? Good luck. Done eating? Want you check? It is almost a hostage situation.
Order your pizza to go. 4 stars for the food, zero stars for the service.
I had a large group and had not been here previously. So I called to see if we needed reservations etc. and was told to be there by 6:30. I was there by 6 and all the tables were long and of shared seating style. No one would help us get seated even if the seven of us had to break up.
Finally after an hour we split up at the bar and a table. This was fine but I realized in all that time not one person had received their pizza.
One part of my group ordered at the bar and I had to go get my own menus and silverware for my table. The order was eventually taken by a server who might have been the worst I have ever experienced. We ordered appetizers, two sandwiches a pizza and a salad. I asked where our appetizer was at when my other group had already received their dinners. The server had forgotten but brought the items out quickly. The meals came shortly after and they forgot the salad. I had to ask when we were almost done eating where it was... he forgot again. It was someone’s meal not just a side! I was never asked about dessert but the other group asked and they were out of almost everything.
What I will say is the food was fantastic! The seating is awful and consists of two long tables one four top and one two top and the bar which would told 8 I believe.
Carry out seemed busy, which is probably a better idea than eating in given the terrible service.
This deserves a five for the pizza but a zero for service. So a three is a fair assessment for my personal experience. The entire meal with wait took over two hours. Ridiculous since we could see the cooking process!
