“My husband and I enjoy Artisan dates whenever we can, as it is our favorite spot. It is a local business and is an excellent part of the community. Atmosphere is friendly, as are the staff. The syrups and oat milk are made in-house, the coffee beans are roasted in house, and the scones are delicious. My favorites are the Lavender Latte, lemon ricotta scone, and strawberry rhubarb scone. A bit pricey, but worth it. They also have a lunch/ dinner menu, which is also pretty great. (Thank you to the owner who chose to open this coffee house. We love you guys!)”

“For the most part I like this DD the best. Most everyone is nice and they get the line through quickly. My only complaint is that they generally like to ignore my request when I ask to toast something dark. I’ll even repeat it and it still never happens. If you toasted the breads to begin with instead of sticking them in something for five seconds it probably Wouldn’t be an issue but it’s irritating.”

“Live right across the street going to the university here in Akron. I DID NOT KNOW THIS PLACE WAS HERE!! Have been here twice now and no disappointments! They bake their own bagels and baked goods, have breakfast and lunch all day. I had the Jalapeno Veggie Bagel first then on my second visit had a meat lovers flat bread pizza. The coffee is fantastic and they roast it right in the shop. The staff is super friendly, service is great and they have two floors of seating. I especially liked the upstairs where I was able to print some things out for class last semester. Books, board games and good times.”

“Morning shift needs attention. The employees seemed too preoccupied with online orders to take care of the ever growing line of regular customers in the store, however I can't blame them too much. They either need more people or to get rid of the DD Perks. It took 14 minutes to get a bacon egg and cheese croissant and cold brew even though I was second in line.”

“I called West Side Bakery to make a Bachelor Party cake and it came out wonderfully! The cake was "Ball and Chain" themed vanilla with a fudge center. Not only was the cake DELICIOUS - the design was great. Everything came out better than I imagined it to be. Will definitely call them again in the future.”
