“I have enjoyed past experiences here and the food always comes out very hot and tasting good, but my last experience left much to be desired. Our food took a while to be prepared, we weren't given silverware to eat with, and one of the orders ended up missing a side item that was supposed to come with it. Also waited at the entrance to be seated for what felt like a few minutes with multiple waitresses passing us by and saying nothing. Overall, this place is usually pretty good especially for being a hometown and local favorite, but something was off for the last visit.”

“My husband and I enjoy Artisan dates whenever we can, as it is our favorite spot. It is a local business and is an excellent part of the community. Atmosphere is friendly, as are the staff. The syrups and oat milk are made in-house, the coffee beans are roasted in house, and the scones are delicious. My favorites are the Lavender Latte, lemon ricotta scone, and strawberry rhubarb scone. A bit pricey, but worth it. They also have a lunch/ dinner menu, which is also pretty great. (Thank you to the owner who chose to open this coffee house. We love you guys!)”

“This is a cute place with potential. The decor is interesting and suits it's name. I ordered the breakfast and it was tastier than I anticipated. The worker was pleasant and welcoming. The atmosphere is quite and calm. A nice place to read or chat with a friend. However, the reason I visited was coffee with a friend. Perhaps I arrived with the thought that this was a coffee house. That it is not. The coffee was extremely watered down. This put a huge damper on the visit. Secondly, the smoke from the kitchen was extremely strong causing my eyes to burn and water. A new kitchen exhaust fan will clear this up. Other small things such as no stirrers for the coffee or condiments for the food also took away from the experience. This place has great potential, but just needs to address these small issues.”

However, for BEING a McDonald's, I've always found the staff extremely polite and attentive, and the food is always fresh. Most importantly, they get orders right, a rarity for McDonald's I don't know if they experienced any management changes in the past 2 years, but the quality of this particular location has improved drastically over that time period. Seldom do you WANT to eat McDonald's unless you're in a rush, but at least they get it right!”

“Live right across the street going to the university here in Akron. I DID NOT KNOW THIS PLACE WAS HERE!! Have been here twice now and no disappointments! They bake their own bagels and baked goods, have breakfast and lunch all day. I had the Jalapeno Veggie Bagel first then on my second visit had a meat lovers flat bread pizza. The coffee is fantastic and they roast it right in the shop. The staff is super friendly, service is great and they have two floors of seating. I especially liked the upstairs where I was able to print some things out for class last semester. Books, board games and good times.”

“Not a frequent customer here so I can't speak for all the time, but the night crew here is excellent. Fast friendly counter service and fresh well prepared food. Even at closing time. I was out Ubering and they even allowed me to sit and enjoy my meal break, although it was three minutes to close. I planned on leaving, but she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and I truly appreciated being able to get out of the car and stretch my legs. They either need more people or to get rid of the DD Perks. It took 14 minutes to get a bacon egg and cheese croissant and cold brew even though I was second in line.”
