“Today we went out for a Mother’s Day lunch an it was so nice!! We were previously here for Easter dinner and it was not so good. We left a review and said what an awful experience we had and the owner contacted my father right away. His wife said to us that the reason that the service was because of some hard times going through the restaurant. She said that was no excuse though. So in return she gave us the opportunity to come back for a Mother’s Day lunch free of charge. She also said that the chef would make my 5 year old niece and 1 and a half year old nephew whatever they wanted special. We came back and found that the restaurant was much cleaner and it had a much better environment than at Easter. When we were seated the waitress came right over and was so friendly. They had more staff and the food tasted great. Me and my mother especially loved their crab dish it was fantastic. The desserts were well stocked when one thing ran out it was quickly replaced. This place gave us a very nice time to celebrate our mother. So if you were there for Easter it is not a bad place it was because they had some problems but those problems have been solved. This is a very nice place to sit down and relax and have great food!! This place left us happy and stuffed!!!”

“I give credit where credit is due! A lot of the other “Hibachi Xpress’s” have lost site of what makes them great! It isn’t the atmosphere or the customer service, it is the food! A lot of the other imitations have lost site of the authentic hibachi food and quality! Was very satisfied with how the chef prepared the food even being so busy! “I want this restaurant to improve so that’s why I’m rating it a three. I’ve lived in Akron 5 years and just ate here the other day and I wasn’t impressed with the food. We got veggie chow mein and a tofu special. I didn’t care for the sauces used and the veggies were pretty flavorless. I would love if the chefs put more thought into the flavors used because I want to support local business. Give us vegans a reason to come back. I like the neon lighting and if you put some care or thought into getting tables that aren’t wobbly it would be a nice place to eat.”

“Consistently get orders wrong. Only reason i go here is the Louisiana rub... The wings are always decent and big. Customer service needs to take a priority when the product sells itself. 03/02/19 UPDATE:: Looks like they got new management. They were SLAMMED and when i came in I was still greeted with a smile. Manager Steve was running around like a madman taking care of angry phone customers and making sure orders were coming out. I was pleased to see the work ethic changing here. My order was perfect and Ill be ordering again soon. So ill bump you up to a 5 star review. Keep up the good work guys!”

“If you love a good Belgian waffle with pecans, this is the place for them. All of us had different dishes - omelets, eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles of differing kinds and none of us were disappointed or hungry by the end of the meal. Expect about $10 a person roughly for each meal with a drink. It is a little bit smaller restaurant so plan accordingly for seating. We went at 10 am on a weekday and were able to get in without a wait. On the weekend the line of people is out the door waiting for waffles.....”

They were great. The burger itself tastes sweet but good. Ate 3. Left one on the dash and ate it down the road. Had a Coke with it. Order at car. Spent $14 on all that food. Great experience.
