Amazing food and service. I thought since they just opened that they would have a very long wait, but they sat me down very fast. The restaurant its self is absolutely beautiful. Though they don’t have their liquor license, the atmosphere made up for it. The sushi was also amazing! Overall very very good, definitely should try.
The new owners kept the layout and decor pretty much the same as the prior owners. The steak and broccoli and pepper steak and onions were good. The broccoli was cooked to perfection. Crisp vegetables are a real plus. The Wonon in the soup was too thick. The egg roll presented an opportunity for improvement. The stuffing was a bit bland. The wait staff was responsive, however, could have been more congenial. The staff in the front of the house was friendly and engaging. It's worth visiting or ordering takeout. Nice and quiet and overall, good food, prices, and service.
Ki Asian Cuisine is a very welcome addition to Fairlawn. We've been lacking in traditional Chinese-American fare in the area and theirs is very good. I had the Chicken & Mushroom while my wife had the Chicken & Broccoli, and it was both super affordable and quick. We were in and out in under a half hour. Fairlawn has loads of expensive, delicious sushi and Asian restaurants, but they lack the basic dishes that are so popular across America. Ki Asian is a perfect low-key, comfort food spot for a quick bite. We will be regular patrons for sure.
The interior of the restaurant is really well-designed and posh. The sushi was excellent and fresh. The beef and scallops dish I ordered was delectable. The beef was perfectly cooked and coated in a mild brown sauce. There were probably at least 15-20 small bay scallops, which were all tender. The veggies were really fresh with the zucchini and mushrooms being my favorite. The mushrooms had a sweet, buttery flavor. Lastly, the rice was perfectly cooked. This outstanding entree only cost about 15 dollars. I was disappointed when House of Hunan (used to be at this location) closed down, but this place does it justice.
The Phoenix Roll and the Salmon Special from the sushi bar at Ki Asian Cuisine are both exceptional. The salmon was fresh, succulent, and expertly prepared, pairing beautifully with the vibrant flavors of the Phoenix Roll. This place is a treasure for any sushi lover.
