“The new owners kept the layout and decor pretty much the same as the prior owners. The steak and broccoli and pepper steak and onions were good. The broccoli was cooked to perfection. Crisp vegetables are a real plus. The Wonon in the soup was too thick. The egg roll presented an opportunity for improvement. The stuffing was a bit bland. The wait staff was responsive, however, could have been more congenial. The staff in the front of the house was friendly and engaging. It's worth visiting or ordering takeout. Nice and quiet and overall, good food, prices, and service.”

“A great replacement after the Picadilly here permanently closed last year. I had a double scoop of their ice cream here, and it was wonderful! They have a flavor called Blue Moon that tastes like bubblegum, and they have another flavor called Kitty Kitty Bang Bang that is like raspberry ice cream with bits of mint cookie in it. They sell macarons here as well, and lots of cakes!”

“Visited this restaurant tonight for dinner. I ordered a salad made my way. My husband ordered a fresh burger. Both items where amazing!!! The ingredients were so fresh and delicious. The portions are very generous. I had a salad with chicken and bacon. You can get a salad with 2 different meats or double meat but that is extra, but I felt the salad didn’t need it. There are so many salad topping items to choose from that you could go everyday and not have the same salad twice. The fresh cut fries, with the house-made Ranch is AMAZING! My husband loved his burger, and that it was very flavorful and juicy. We will definitely be back! Also, all the employees were very friendly and helpful, really such a great place!”

“Feeling middle of the road on this one. Have had twice at same location, once at another. First time was pretty darn good, so when a new shop opened up in the city I work in, I was happy to stop in and get a sub. Tasty, but a little too much sauce for me (not particularly a condiment person). I dunno if I got a bad pickle, but it seemed like it hadn't been able to brine long enough, or it wasn't strong enough so it was a little like a salty cucumber. So the third time I visited, I bypassed the pickle entirely, and got the sauce on the side (tasted much better without, for me). But here are my two downsides, and possibly my deal breakers. The bread is very crusty. No matter what comments you will reply with about Subway and their bread, it's just a personal preference to not have my sandwich cut up my mouth. There are other places that I also do not go to anymore because of this. The second one: the mess. Now, it's not a big deal that I cannot eat this sandwich on its wrapping because it's covered in grease. But I was pretty disappointed that upon unwrapping, all my goods were not within the bread and I had to reassemble it. Some possibilities to consider, sliced cheese, and placement of the hot peppers (which are very tasty) underneath the meats. Thanks! Maybe some other time”

“Every time I come here, I ask them the same question...when are you gonna come to the Youngstown area?!? Very good cheese steaks. My personal favorite is the Black & Blue. It has steak, Cajun seasoning, and blue cheese sauce. So, so good. The fries are great too. The only fries I didn't care for though, are the pizza fries. The marinara didn't agree with me. Other versions of the fries are much better. If this place wasn't an hour away from me, I'd eat here a lot more often. Come to Youngstown already!”

“This is the only place in Akron where you can get genuine chewy bagels freshly baked. Go on Wednesday when a Baker's dozen is on sale. Slice the uneaten bagels and freeze them. When you thae them they will be almost as fresh as new. You can't stop by and have freshly made bagel sandwiches with a variety of inserts and toppings. My favorite bagel is the everything all wheat bagle stuffed with lox from Costco...”

As soon as i pay for my pizza the manager walks up behind me and says "Ms. Ball, your pizza didn't have enough toppings to my liking. So we are going to remake it." This may not seem like a big deal to most. But for the manager to recognize and fix a issue before i even saw it was AWESOME!!!! Plus who can't love a pizza place where u have pizzas named " Dr. Dre." Or "The Bronx Bomber"(which is what i got). Go to Dewey's”
