Wolf Creek Tavern

Wolf Creek Tavern is pretty unassuming from the exterior, and even less so once inside. At first appearance, you'll infer you're in an average-at-best local dining spot and watering hole.

However, once you open the menu, you'll find innovative dining concepts (that are well executed by the kitchen) and adult concoctions that took some thought and ingenuity (Again, very well executed).

Once you've enjoyed a meal and a few drinks, you may hear about the building's history, involvement with the underground railroad, and the illicit speakeasy it once operated. You'll be even more intrigued when you find that the speakeasy is still intact and functional downstairs, just no longer illicit.

They also have an excellent deck area where you can enjoy your meal and drinks outside when the weather cooperates.

Overall, a great place!

Shane and Amy have done a fantastic job with this historical place. The food is excellent and by the way the place is haunted. NCPD has investigated the Wolf Creek Tavern and has gotten some amazing evidence.????

Great service. Food was on point. Bathrooms we're clean.nice variety on the menu. Waitress was so nice. Recommend this place to anyone.

How amazing was this hidden gem. We were so kindly greeted by Phoebe, the bartender. She used our names all night. Shared her name straight away. Food was excellent. I got a veggie wrap with what I believe was Homemade chips, slightly burnt the way I love them. It was a match made in heaven. I'm definitely going to visit again soon! Thank you Phoebe for letting us veg. At the bar and catch up. Everyone was wonderful and just what I needed, Home!
