Hot Dog Shoppe

A four just because the hot dogs are a little skinny and the cheese doesnt seem like real cheese - but, hey! it is the Hot Dog Shoppe and it is an icon located on the west side of Warren. I do enjoy a hot dog from there (my dad loved them) once in a while with chili, cheddar and onions - yes, my favorite! The chili sauce is great! And, I like the French fries with salt on the side! Take note, Mickey D's !! And you can get the works on those tasty spuds, too. Very good milkshakes, - real ones, too, thank you. If you are travelling through Warren, stop there because you will enjoy it. Other foods other than hot dogs but this is what they are known for first! Guaranteed if you stop once, you will stop again and again and...

My dads friend from VA told he loves this place and I definitely know why. It's a great atmosphere with amazing food. And way more for your buck than anywhere I've ever been. Service was great and staff was super friendly. Definitely will be going back soon

This place is wonderful! The food tastes delicious, the service is beautiful, and the wait is worth it. I personally order 2 chili cheese dogs and some chili cheese fries. They make average food taste awesome. They have burgers, fries, hot dogs, chicken noodle soup, sodas, ect. It does get very busy on most days. I would highly recommend the Hot Dog Shoppe to anyone and everyone!

I visit the area every year and I cannot go back home without stopping by the Hot Dog shoppe. The restaurant feels authentically old school with its nostalgic atmosphere and the best part is, the prices are almost unchanged too! The menu isn’t very large or diverse, you know what you’re getting when you go there; I personally find this a positive. Burgers, Hot Dogs, fries, and floats. Hardly any single item is over a few bucks. I LOVE the chili cheese fries, family sized order all for myself if that doesn’t tell you anything ;)

Very old, nostalgic place. Hot dogs many ways. Great Fries (like fair fries) and plenty of them. Also serve hamburgers and other items. A very long counter to sit at and joke with other customers. Also tables. Fun place! We had a good time there.
