Ruby Tuesday

We stopped here on our way to Kings Island. The prices were really good and the server was really nice. The 3 course meal deal gives you A LOT of food! We were definitely STUFFED by the time we were done and some of us left food on our plates. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars was because the salad bar was a bit disappointing. The peas and corn were completely frozen to the bottom and we had to ask for cheese to be put back on the bar. The restaurant was completely dead so it wasn't wiped out because they were busy... The toppings had to have been sitting there awhile to be frozen like that!

The food was not properly prepared and the service was poor. The salmon was only half-cooked, and the zucchini was cold. The food was served, and immediately the waitress (bartender) asked us if everything looked ok. She never came back to see if it was ok after we had a chance to taste the food. Also, the waitress had the personality of someone who did not really care.

My fiance and I both ordered two chicken breasts dinners that weren't very good. The chicken had a very strange texture to it, a grisly texture. We will not order the chicken again! However, the salad bar is great, and the baby back ribs are very good.

Cajun shrimp, dirty rice, bourbon pork chop, and tater tots were all yummy, coleslaw was crunchy but the flavor was weird. The server disappeared at the end of the service when we needed to pay, so we were there for a while longer than we needed to be after all the food was eaten. But she was friendly.

Salad bar is delicious. We asked if we can have some pasta made for us because it had ham in it and we don't eat meat. The chef made us a bowl and the server brought it to us. It was nice of them to accommodate our needs. Will be back again.
