The Old Bag of Nails

What a great find! I ate here last night for the first time ever with my family and loved it. We got there kind of late after an evening at KI with young kids and was pleased with how quick we were seated and how quick the food came out. I had the steamed shrimp and mussels app and my husband got a burger and both were delicious. I’m looking forward to trying it again soon! Also the server was very kind. We had young hungry children and appreciate the fast and friendly service!

The locals love this place and the not so locals love this place. I ordered a steak the one time I went and wasn't overly impressed. But some of our friends that have gone can't seem to get enough of the place. I thought it was a bit pricy. I may have to try the place one more time, but this time I will have to try the fish and chips...what they are famous for. Who am I to order a steak at a fish place. May increase to 5 stars after my next visit.

I have eaten here many times. Any place that knows how to make decent French onion soup gets high marks automatically. Everything else is delicious as well and for reasonable prices.

Old Bag of Nails has food that will surprise you! An excellent Fish and Chips option, the chicken quesadilla is great, clams are very popular and a good beer selection. Staff is friendly and service is usually pretty quick. It can get busy on a sports night. TVs everywhere, including inside many booths. Kids Night is Sunday nights and they host a balloon artist or face painter plus kids eat free then.
