La Roe's Restaurant

Always delicious food. The soup flight is one of my favorites. The beer flight is awesome as well.

Been here a few times and have ordered something different each time. Each time the food was good. They have a decent beer selection from local breweries and have an upstairs room where they can host group dinners. We had our rehearsal dinner here and Dave was very helpful and flexible in helping us develop a menu for the night.

La Roe's is an unexpected small-town gem. The service is superb and the food is excellent. The kid's menu is definitely 6-year-old approved---in particular, the chicken fingers and fries are always a big hit. The poppy seed dressing is so good that the restaurant sells it! Though the menu is semi-pricey, you will not be disappointed! If you are ever in the vicinity of Grand Rapids, pop in for a bite!

I wrote a review before..but I just can't it enough how wonderful this place is. The owner is so nice! He is always talking to his guests, and treats them like family. The food is wonderful, and his staff is polite and kind. It is worth the trip~

One word, Awesome. The food was too good to stop eating. We didn't try dessert so I can't speak to that directly but the others in the room at the time we were there were very happy with their desserts. It does have a bar atmosphere on the one side but it is handled in a discrete and professional way. The server was great. The portions were good. It's basically fine dining and we were asked when we entered if we had a reservation so that must be a thing. We were seated immediately, served quickly, and had hot tasty food in front of us rapidly. Seldom have I ever had better or cheaper for what we received. Good job La Roe's.
