I know people are going to disagree with me,BUT... this place is a bit overrated. Don't get me wrong, the chicken strips are perfectly cooked. Crispy breaded strip is hot & juicy. BUT, it lacks flavor. You definitely need some sauce for flavor. My kids love the sauce and the garlic toast. We'll be back but it's not my first choice. *update... they've reduced the size of the sauce cups🤦♀️
The place was packed. Had a hard time finding a parking space. Overall good experience. The chicken is lightly breaded , the fries were well cooked and the slaw was good. I mixed the sweet tea and unsweetened tea for the perfect balance
Finally! It's so nice to have one in this part of the state and I'm sure that others are on the way. Even though this place is getting hammered with people the service is very fast at least when you go inside. There's no way I'm going to deal with the drive-thru line right now. My food is always fresh hot and delicious there's never anything missing and I kind of want some right now.
Ate in store - the wait was 13 minutes from paying to receiving food which at the time felt like building anticipation, but then we tried the food and it was down graded to incompetence.
The breading on the chicken was moist and sliding off the chicken.
Fries were fine. Not worth any sort of wait.
Texas toast was buttery, but so is the one you can get from the frozen aisle.
The sauce is good, but not good enough to bring me back. It’s a thin ketchup based sauce with lots of Cajun spices and hints of vinegar. It’s good and really helps the bland chicken, but I’d prefer crispy chicken and no sauce to this arrangement.
If you want to try it I’d highly recommend waiting until the hype dies down and only pull in if there’s nothing you’re craving more, and there’s no line.
For RaisingCanes to have just opened it was exactly what we expected. 1 hour and 45 minute wait in drive thru but it was worth the wait. We ❤️ Raising Cane’s! We will definitely visit again
