“First time I have been here but not the last. Nice clean restrooms. Lots of good food if your hungry. We got some snacks while there, some pizza, kielbasa, mozzarella sticks. Sooooo good. The ladies were so nice and I definitely recommend coming there for food, fuel or whatever you need when your at the lake. Or definitely worth the drive for a great burger and pizza.”

“My family went here this evening, and we were all well-pleased. The food was delicious, and service was fast and attentive. We had never tried fried green beans, but it was worth the adventure. The onion rings are made-from-scratch. The atmosphere and decor are cozy, clean and cool, complete with historical charm. We are travelling through on our vacation and came through Atoka, tired and hungry. They were closing within 20 minutes upon our arrival, but they were so kind to welcome us anyway. The only confusion occurred when we were done with our meal, we did not know we were supposed to go up to the register to get our check and pay. This may not be the normal way, as she was closing out for the night--so that may have been the reason. If we pass through Atoka again, we definitely will stop here again. Excited to try their breakfast!”

“Great place to eat and very friendly people. Im from out of town & They made me feel welcome there. The bartender's boyfriend sat next to me at the bar where I ate and suggested the Hawaiian fajita's and they were great. And he talked to me while I was there. And when I walked out to leave the cook asked me how I liked everything and carried on a nice conversation with me for a few minutes. Was a really nice experience eating here!”

“Meat was good and tender. I ordered open faced roast beef with mashed potatoes. Gravy was a bit salty and was forming a skin when I got it. Hubby ordered something different and it was ok, too. The salad bar was good. It had a good selection but the dressings were forming skins on the top. They have good potato salad though. Their pickled beets are fabulous, too. Service was good and friendly.”

“Not the same food I remember from when I was a kid...which is a good thing. They have completely reinvented themselves, with freshly made tortillas and other fresh, quality ingredients at a good price. I NEVER would touch the place growing up (in fact, at first, I would order from a separate restaurant while my husband picked up his meal at Taco Mayo) but it is now a favorite spot to stop for a quick, tasty meal.”

“The food is good. It's the waitresses and the cooks and the cleanliness of the restaurant that throws them off. The staff is going a little "fast" if you know what I mean. So fast they r going slow. Biting their shoulder, slow. They dont clean near as often as they should. Get better staff and clean and this place could be something.”
