Yamato

The food was good and it is always fun to watch them cook at the table. The main problem we had was that everything was sticky. The floors, woodwork and tables were all sticky. Maybe it was something they cleaned with. I hope they fix that.

Yamato was a delightful experience. My husband and I had a date night there. We didn't have to wait long to be settled in our seats. The first thing we noticed was how clean everything was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I never been to a restaurant like Yamato. They cook your meal right in front of you. The chef was very funny and entertaining to us. He had stories and jokes and made us feel very comfortable. The food was perfect!!! We didn't need any salt, pepper or anything for flavor. The portions were huge there is so much food the wait staff automatically bring to go boxes when they give you your bill. The food is a little pricey but its well worth it. My husband and I loved Yamato and plan on going again for another date night.

I always love this place. Its expensive, but always worth it. The staff and chefs have been consistently nice throughout the years, and it's pretty hard to beat the food. Plus, we just took our 5 month old for the first time last week and he loved it! The chef was super cool and playing with him the whole time. By far one of my favs in Norman.

We love going to hibachi grills. Service was excellent. Food was delightfully prepared. We always have leftovers to take home because they give you plentiful servings. The cook was fun and engaged everyone at the table. We went for a birthday lunch, and it was wonderful!
