“Yamato was a delightful experience. My husband and I had a date night there. We didn't have to wait long to be settled in our seats. The first thing we noticed was how clean everything was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I never been to a restaurant like Yamato. They cook your meal right in front of you. The chef was very funny and entertaining to us. He had stories and jokes and made us feel very comfortable. The food was perfect!!! We didn't need any salt, pepper or anything for flavor. The portions were huge there is so much food the wait staff automatically bring to go boxes when they give you your bill. The food is a little pricey but its well worth it. My husband and I loved Yamato and plan on going again for another date night.”

“We used to frequent Louie's on Campus Corner when it first opened years ago, and then the one in South Tulsa when we lived up there, but we just visited the one in Brookhaven over the weekend and we had great service, really good food, and we had a party of 10 with 4 kids and they were able to put us in a private room right next to the cigar lounge and it was great. We were able to enjoy our conversations instead of competing with crowd noise to hear. A bonus was that we didn't smell even the slightest bit of smoke from the cigar lounge. Great experience.”

“Delicious sandwiches, served surprisingly quickly (for our visit, anyway). However, our cashier was a nightmare, speaking at maximum speed with no pauses or inflections. For instance, I asked her to repeat the alternatives to potato chips three times, but each time was exactly the same: top speed, no pauses, impossible to understand. I made out the word "sprouted" and asked about that. Then, to recap our order, she read it all back the same way. It was impossible to understand any of it. Frankly, she was weirdly aggressive about this. (College-aged white woman, maybe 7:30-ish on Sunday, if you're looking, Panera.) The rest of the staff was kind, and the food was excellent.”

“We had a wonderful lunch if authentic Mexican food. In the middle of the college core, this restaurant has off street free parking. You stand in line to place your order from the menu on the wall. Everything is made to order, so don’t be in a rush. We enjoyed quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas and some very good guacamole and chips. We went with locals who claim this is the best Mexican food in Norman. It sure was good.”

Burgers were cooked just right. Upbeat atmosphere. People were playing shuffle board, a lot of laughter in the air. We had a very good time. We have no complaints. Clean restroom. Never ending drinks. Got to finish our appetizers before our dinner came out. Meal was very good. Our waiter was excellent, very informative about the menu and specialty drinks. “Large pizzas that are always fresh, hot, and full of great toppings. We love to use the Slice app to order and pick up-accurate timing and sometimes coupons or codes for money off. The lunch special is the way to go if you like to enjoy a variety of dishes rather than just one main dish. It includes a spring roll, choice of stir fry, pad Thai or fried rice & choice of curry. I have a hard time choosing because I love every item on the menu. I tend order different dishes every time. Always fresh & flavorful.
