I loved eating here! Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the food. I had fajitas and freshly made corn tortillas! As a matter of fact everything tasted fresh and authentic. Please take time to eat here.
The decor is Spartan but Don't let that discourage you from sitting for a meal!

La Potosina Mexican Kitchen is one of those places that seems unassuming, but is really a hidden gem. Don’t bother looking up the name “La Potosina” in your Spanish dictionary, it part of the name of a town in Mexico. The interior is lacking, but the food is good. You can choose to be seated in a booth, at a table, or at the counter. Their menu is simple, but reasonably priced. The salsa is fresh and has a little kick to it. You can order queso, but it will cost you $1 extra for a bowl, yet it is nice and warm; my grandson loved it. The server (a local) was friendly without being pushy. I noticed an old Coke refrigerator had traditional Mexican sodas you could purchase with your meal. It isn’t every day you find one of these little “mom and pop” places that serves good, simple, tasty, Mexican food.
