Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Tap Room

I love pizza! I mean like totally teenage mutant ninja turtle type love of pizza. I try to sample the best pizza everywhere I travel. THIS place is amazing! Out of the hundreds of places I have eaten pizza I would say this is my second favorite place! This place has style. There is the amazing atmosphere, the local and otherwise beers and wines to go with your pizza. The service is great too. But the pizza... OH the pizza. A perfect fluffy full crust to start, then the unique combinations of ingredients to craft the perfect pie. I highly recommend this place and will go back each time I can when I am in the area.

I give this 3 stars due to the pricing and the pie being just a tick better than your normal pie. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff is superb! However a small pie cost me $18 and some change. If your in the area for a getaway, then by all means go and enjoy the atmosphere and some great food, but be ready to drop a little more cash than your typical pizza joint for just some a little above average pizza.

Original post 2019; Update on May 13, 2021: still delightful, still dog-friendly. I'd downgrade it for no masks. But, I'm not sure masks are "a thing" in OK. Personally, I think food service personnel should be masking until further resolution of the pandemic (maybe with the exception of those who've been vaccinated). Still, this is a fun place to eat with good food and very nice staff. Logan, and I think it was Rusty, were great.

Dog-friendly on the outside patio. The pizza was good, good recommendations from staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. Not the place (at least the patio, can't speak for the inside) for a quiet conversation. We were looking for dog friendly. This exceeded our expectations.

Definitely worth the hype! Had lunch during spring break 2021 so our wait was to be expected. Customer service was impressive and our waitress was a gem. We have dietary restriction in our family and this was hands down THE BEST PIZZA we’ve ever had out. We appreciate that dining out was even an option and it’s already on our list for the next visit.
