Ted's Cafe Escondido

Great tasting food. They also keep their cups in a freezer so even your beers are ice cold. And they rub lemon around the rim for an added taste. So good.

Ted's has decently fast service even during lunch rush hour on a weekday. They were able to facilitate our large group decently well. I will have to try more of the menu, but going for their cheapest lunch option wasn't a terrible idea. On the plus side the portions are adequate and meat was seasoned decently well. I wasn't a fan of the enchilada sauce however. They do serve tortilla and chips. Overall it's a decent place to go, but I would recommend researching the menu beforehand to see what's good and within your price range.

We came here at about 8:30 at night. We thought they were open till 10pm. They were going to close at 9pm. They treated us so well. We felt welcomed. The staff was extremely kind, and everything was delicious!I had the pick two tacos as did my boyfriend. We will definitely be coming back.

Fairly average, but not a bad spot. Chips, salsa and cheese were good. Variety of food is pretty good and the tastes are as well. Prices are comparable to other Mexican sit down styles in the area. Decor and ambience is okay. Service is solid. However; the paying system is just silly and really unnecessary.
